ROMEO & JULIET at Commonwealth Shakespeare

Kimberly is deep in rehearsals for Commonwealth Shakespeare Company’s Stage2 production of Romeo and Juliet. Kimberly is serving as the Assistant Director under Adam Sanders. The production, performed by the young professional CSC2 Acting Company, is geared towards students audiences. Student matinees for local high schools students begin on May Thursday May 23 at CSC2’s home, the Carling-Sorenson Theatre at Babson College in Wellesley, MA.

Over the course of the rehearsal process, Kimberly led two workshops in Commedia dell’arte- one for the CSC2 Acting Company and another for high school students with the Sparhawk School, observing the rehearsal process. The production utilizes some elements of Commedia dell’arte as a physical vocabulary for story-telling.
